Day 1 Frankfurt
Arrival to Frankfurt - the German “city of contrasts” characterized by tradition and modernity, culture and business. Enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of this cosmopolitan city.

Day 2 Frankfurt - excursion Romantic Rhine castles and Loreley
After breakfast you will discover the enchanting Rhine Valley. First stop is the visit of the medieval Eberbach Monastery, then you’ll have lunch at Rüdesheim, pittoresque town in the heart of the Rheingau wine growing region. A boat trip on river Rhein will take you to St. Goarshausen with the famous Loreley rock. In the afternoon you drive back to Frankfurt along numerous romantic Rhine castles.

Day 3 Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Freiburg
In the morning you travel to Heidelberg to visit the famous castle. Then you have time for a sightseeing tour of the city. Heidelberg is Germany’s oldest university town and it is one of the most visited places in the country. Continue your tour to Freiburg.

Day 4 Freiburg - Lake Titi - Meersburg - Lindau
After breakfast you enjoy a tour of Freiburg to explore the attractive old quarter of the “capital of the Black Forest”. This is where you find the vineyards of the Kaiserstuhl region and the famous Freiburg minster with its unique spire. Continue your trip to Lake Titi. Nestled along the Cuckoo Clock Route, this lake is the largest in the Black Forest. Enjoy your lunch stop along the lake. You will then continue to Meersburg, a beautiful city at Lake Constance with its medieval ambiance and the impressive castle. After a brief stop you reach Lindau, a small island in Lake Constance which is also called the Venice of Swabia. Enjoy the evening at the beautiful harbour and have a stroll in the enchanting old town.

Day 5 Lindau - Neuschwanstein - Oberammergau - Ettal - Garmisch-Partenkirchen
In the morning you travel to Füssen where you visit Neuschwanstein castle. The Bavarian king Ludwig II had this castle built in a neo-romantic style in a fascinating scenic setting. Then you travel to Oberammergau, a picturesque village, famous for its passion play where you stop for lunch. A brief stop at Benedict Abbey in Ettal and you continue your tour to Garmisch Partenkirchen, the capital of winter sports and the site of the 1936 Winter Olympics. Here you find Germany’s highest peak, the Zugspitze.

Day 6 Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Linderhof - Wieskirche - Munich
In the morning you can relax or explore the city; you can also take the cable car to the top of Zugspitze. Then you travel to Munich. Along the way you visit the Linderhof palace, another one of the three castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Then you continue to the Pilgrimage Church of Wies at Pfaffenwinkel, one of the most famous rococo churches of the world. Travel on to Munich.

Day 7 Munich
Munich, the fun loving capital of Bavaria is famous for its beer festival (Oktoberfest) celebrated at the end of September. With its exuberant atmosphere and vitality Munich is also one of Europe’s great cultural centres. After breakfast you visit the gardens of the Palace of the Nymphs. This baroque palace was the summer residence of the Bavarian kings where King Ludwig II was born. Then you continue to the city centre for a sightseeing tour of the main monuments and attractions. In the afternoon you are free to explore the city at your own. In the evening you will enjoy a Bavarian Night at the famous Hofbräuhaus with Bavarian live music and a typical Bavarian dinner.

Day 8 Munich - Nürnberg - Würzburg - Frankfurt
After breakfast you travel to Nürnberg and discover this medieval town during a city walk. At every turn you will find evidence of its 950 old year history. After lunch you continue to Würzburg, end point of the Romantic Road, an ancient Episcopal seat and vibrant university town. Here you visit the magnificent Residenz palace, one of the most important baroque palaces in Europe and former residence of the prince-bishops of Würzburg. After this last stop you continue to Frankfurt where the tour ends.

Day 9 Departure Day
Time to say goodbye! The bus takes you to you the airport/ train station.
