Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Frankfurt
Welcome to Frankfurt! The city on the River Main combines tradition and modernity, culture and international business in a unique way. During a first orientation tour, you will get to know this diverse city.
Overnight in Frankfurt
Day 2 – Romantic Rhine & Loreley
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the Romantic Rhine Valley. Your first stop is the medieval Eberbach Abbey, before continuing to Rüdesheim, one of the best-known wine towns on the Rhine. Afterwards, enjoy a boat cruise on the Rhine to St. Goarshausen and the famous Loreley, passing vineyards, castles and picturesque villages along the way. Return to Frankfurt afterwards.

Day 3 – Frankfurt – Heidelberg – Freiburg
Today, travel to Heidelberg and visit the famous Heidelberg Castle. Afterwards, there is time for a guided tour through the historic old town of this traditional university city. Continue to Freiburg in the afternoon.

Day 4 – Freiburg – Titisee – Meersburg – Lindau
In the morning, discover Freiburg, the charming gateway to the Black Forest, with its cathedral, historic old town and the vineyards around the Kaiserstuhl. Afterwards, continue to Lake Titisee in the Black Forest and then to Meersburg on Lake Constance, known for its medieval old town and impressive castle. In the evening, arrive in Lindau, whose historic old town is located on an island in Lake Constance.

Day 5 – Lindau – Neuschwanstein – Oberammergau – Ettal – Garmisch-Partenkirchen
After breakfast, travel to Füssen and visit the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairy-tale castle of King Ludwig II. Continue to Oberammergau, famous for its traditional Passion Play. Another stop takes you to Ettal Abbey, before reaching Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the foot of Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze.

Day 6 – Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Linderhof – Wieskirche – Munich
The morning is at leisure in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Depending on the weather, there is the option to take a trip up the Zugspitze. On the way to Munich, visit Linderhof Palace, the magnificent residence of King Ludwig II, as well as the famous Wieskirche, a masterpiece of Bavarian Rococo.

Day 7 – Munich
Today, discover the Bavarian capital. The program includes highlights such as Nymphenburg Palace, Marienplatz, Frauenkirche and the Munich Residence. The afternoon is at leisure for your own activities. In the evening, enjoy Bavarian hospitality during a traditional evening at the Hofbräuhaus with regional specialties and music.

Day 8 – Munich – Nuremberg – Würzburg – Frankfurt
After breakfast, travel to Nuremberg and explore its historic old town during a guided walk. Afterwards, continue to Würzburg, the northern starting point of the Romantic Road. Visit the magnificent Würzburg Residence, one of Europe’s most important Baroque palaces, before returning to Frankfurt in the afternoon.

Day 9 – Departure
After breakfast, your round trip comes to an end. Transfer to the airport or railway station for your individual onward journey.
